Album Review

Taylor Swift takes us back to 2008 with her re-release of Fearless (Taylor's Version)

5 out of 5

The original "Fearless" album cover from 2008

Taylor is rerecording her first six albums after her original master recordings were acquired by  Scooter Braun's company, Ithaca Holdings

Taylor refused to license her original music that Braun now owns so she could minimize profit he could make from her works

The first re-release is "Fearless" which contains hits such as "Fifteen",  "Love Story", and "You Belong With Me".

The re-recording of "Fearless" is nearly identical to the original

There are subtle changes in the new version. Taylor's voice is fuller and richer. Some instrumentations  and harmonies are improved for the better.

There are six new tracks from the vault that have never been heard before with Maren Morris and Keith Urban providing vocals on two of those tracks

Incredibly, "Fearless" holds up 13 years later, and any one of these tracks could be a hit if released today.

Taylor fans have lots to be excited about because there are five more re-releases to come. 5 out of 5 stars!
