For National Margarita Day, I wanted to switch things up! So I went live on Instagram and made a White Wine Margarita. Combining wine and tequila might not be something you’d think would work, but it sure does.

Here’s how to how to make it:

Ingredients:

4 oz White Wine (Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Grigio, Albariño, Grüner Vetliner)
2 oz Tequila (Silver or Blanco)
1 oz Lime Juice
1/2 oz Agave Syrup
Lime wedge
Ice
Salt

Directions:

Grind salt on a plate and rim a glass with a lime wedge. Turn glass over and place rim on the salt and coat it in salt moving the glass back and forth.
Add ice to a shaker, and pour wine, tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup in. If you’d like it sweeter, add a touch more agave syrup.
Shake it up and pour over ice!
Garnish with a lime wedge and enjoy!
